At the time of writing these lines, we are editing our upcoming music video.
👉 DO YOU WANT TO BE IN OUR VIDEO?
We invite you to send us a 10-30 second video of yourself, filmed with the intention of expressing what "SURRENDERING" means to you. Keep it simple! You can film yourself or someone you love, keeping these guidelines in mind:
- USE your smartphone (or a good quality camera) - with its best-quality video settings
- FILM in landscape mode (horizontal)* This is important!
- GOOD LIGHTING can be obtained by filming outdoors to allow as much light as possible, unless you have great indoor lighting by a large window, for example.
The chosen footage will be inserted in our upcoming music video of a music medicine song called "The Surrendering". MJ recorded this intuitive song, along with two Koshi Chimes. Her intention was to give the listener an opportunity to let go of emotional pain often attached to limiting beliefs, grief and expectations; shifting heavy, chaotic, fearful energies into bright, light vibrations. It is a very simple song, with no lyrics ~ just open vowels.
DEADLINE
- Send your 10-second (max.) video by the end of the day, Sunday October 3rd, 2021.
YOU CAN INCLUDE YOUR STORY
- If you feel like it, you can send us a short paragraph describing your perception/interpretation of "surrendering". Please feel free to share your name and title if you feel like it. We might include this in the description of the music video.
WILL YOU VIDEO BE FEATURED?
- The clips that we will insert in our final music video will be chosen depending on the the quality of lighting, resolution and orientation of the clips, as well as the number of clips received. We will send you an email confirming that we have received your file, and we will also email you to let you know if it has been included in the final cut.
