An online, intuitive sound healing & movement journey with MJ and Dean of Sacred Fire, in celebration of the Spring Equinox.

On this formidable day of the year, when day and night are of equal length, we will open our hearts, raise our energy and give honor to the natural forces that give us life. Connected with each other and our internal guidance, we will relax, rejuvenate, and create a sense of oneness, community and joy!

Part 1: Guided Meditation & Sound Healing (lay down or sit with headphones, eyes closed)
You are invited to gently bring yourself out of winter and into spring, immersed in meditative, healing music from Sacred Fire. With guided visualization and sacred sounds, you will be aligning your energy body, your thoughts and actions with your true path, and you will be setting your intentions for this new cycle.

Part 2: Movement Journey (stand up and move, or stay still and observe your inner movement)
In the second part of this event, you will be led into a rhythm & movement journey, celebrating the freshness of life and regeneration of abundance. Feel free to move and dance to the rhythm of the drums! You will have the opportunity to let go of the energies that no longer serve you, and create space to welcome playfulness, vitality and momentum with the intention of surrendering to life's phases and rich blessings, ready to manifest your dreams.

MJ Vermette & Dean Richards are Music Medicine Artists who travel the globe as Sacred Fire. Their Mystical Worldbeat Concerts, Workshops, Sound Healing Journeys and Ceremonies bring a sense of grounding, connection and deep joy.

Sacred Fire is acclaimed for their powerful drumming and heart-opening, mesmerizing vocals. Their mindful music merges operatic, Celtic, progressive rock & jazzy, new age arrangements with a twist of worldwide traditional influences. They use musical expression as a harmonizing tool, to touch deep within the soul, boost vitality and build pathways between humans and their ancestral, inner wisdom.

Based on Vancouver Island, British-Columbia (Canada), surrounded by the beauty of ocean, forest & mountains, Sacred Fire’s breath is infused with the energy of the natural elements.

Since 2011, Sacred Fire have performed & toured in Germany, France, UK, USA, Canada, the Carribbean and Mexico. The duo has produced three albums and numerous music videos. They have worked alongside Dr. Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, davidji and many others, and collaborated with prominent musicians who have also recorded with Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Krishna Das, Talk Talk, Robbie Robertson, Eurythmics and more.

Marie Josée (MJ) Vermette is a Musician, Sound Healing Artist, Workshop Facilitator and Certified Bodymind & Energy Therapy Practitioner. She has extensive experience, supporting people healing from trauma, addiction, abuse, emotional, mental or physical challenges.

As a skilled facilitator, vocalist, hand drummer and healer, she has been offering Sound & Energy Healing; Intuitive Singing and Creative Drumming Workshops since 2004; a unique concept that allows her therapeutic expertise to blend with her artistic personality, to help people radiate peace, health and positive force. Raised and trained in Montréal (Canada), she moved to the Vancouver area in 2010, where she formed SacredFire with Dean Richards.

Dean Richards is a talented multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, and music producer. For over 30 years Dean has been performing music professionally, writing, recording and touring across the world. Brought up in the lush forest landscape of British Columbia, Canada, the influence of nature is always present in his work. His passion is creating music and visuals to connect with people at a profound, positive degree.

Since a very early age, Dean says he has always had an inner desire to know oneself at a deeper level and has studied many self awareness/improvement disciplines and the art of good communication. Dean shares his gifts through music in a way that clears, and leaves the audience filled with a revived, uplifted energy.
