ISLAND CREATIVE SINGING CIRCLE

Explore song improvisation and circle singing, using your creativity and your intuition.

Together, we wil create songs, rhythms, harmonies and melodies with the intention of creating community, releasing stress, raising mindful awareness and sharing deep joy!

Adults and teens welcome. No experience needed.

The techniques used in this singing circle are inspired by the circle song techniques made popular by Bobby McFerrin (https://youtu.be/TNlmU4nPySI).

In these circles, we will play with fun vocal improv games, group toning, harmonizing and spontaneous melody. You could be writing lyrics; playing percussion or improvising spoken word or in intuitive language.

We will offer an audience interactive group performance in Ladysmith at the end of March.

Cost: $90 for 10 weeks Drop-in: $10

A minimum of 4 participants are required to sign up for the full 10-week session before we start this group.
